Verum Global — Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service provided by Verum Global, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Use of our services confirms that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms. Continued use constitutes ongoing acceptance of any updates.

2. Scope of Services

Verum Global provides courier, logistics, and customer support services including:

  • International shipping services (primarily USA to Jamaica)

  • Package receiving, handling, and delivery

  • Assisted online shopping and purchasing support

  • Customer referral reward program

  • Customer loyalty points program

  • Delivery through third-party courier partners where necessary

Verum Global reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time without prior notice.

3. Shipping Schedule

Shipping schedules are estimates only and may vary based on carrier operations, customs clearance, weather, or other external factors. Delivery timelines are not guaranteed.

4. Delivery Service Areas

Free delivery is currently available in the following locations:

  • Boro Bridge

  • Spalding

  • Mount Moriah

  • White Sand

  • Wild Cane Cascade

Delivery outside these zones may be arranged through third-party courier services at the customer’s expense.

5. Responsibility, Risk & Liability

All shipments are transported at the customer’s risk.

Verum Global assumes limited liability and is not responsible for:

  • Vendor mistakes or incorrect orders

  • Incorrect information provided by customers

  • Packages lost or damaged before reaching our facility

  • Delays, loss, or damage caused by third-party carriers or customs

  • Acts beyond our control (weather, inspections, operational disruptions)

Responsibility begins when packages arrive at our designated facility and ends once delivered or handed over to another courier.

6. Packaging & Fragile Items

Verum Global is not responsible for damage resulting from inadequate packaging by vendors or senders.

Fragile items including electronics, glass, liquids, cosmetics, or delicate goods are shipped strictly at the customer’s risk.

7. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers must ensure all shipments comply with Jamaican and international laws.

Prohibited items include (but are not limited to):

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances

  • Firearms, weapons, or ammunition

  • Explosives or hazardous materials

  • Counterfeit goods

  • Pornographic or obscene materials

  • Perishable food items

  • Live animals

  • Cash or negotiable instruments

Any prohibited item may be confiscated or reported to authorities without compensation.

8. Customs Duties & Fees

Customers are fully responsible for:

  • Customs duties

  • Taxes

  • Clearance fees

  • Government charges

Verum Global is not responsible for customs delays, inspections, or penalties.

9. Assisted Online Shopping Service

For customers using our shopping assistance:

  • Full payment must be made before purchase

  • Customers must confirm product details before ordering

  • Once an item is purchased, payments are generally non-refundable

  • Verum Global is not responsible for vendor errors, sizing issues, incorrect items, or supplier delays

All exchanges or refunds remain between the customer and the vendor.

10. Referral Rewards Program

Customers may earn a JMD $100 referral reward when:

  • The referred customer successfully signs up, and

  • The referred customer completes at least JMD $3,000 in shipping transactions

Referral credits are applied toward future shipping services and are not redeemable for cash.

11. Loyalty Points Program

Customers earn 1 point per JMD $1 spent on shipping services.

Redemption structure:

  • 1,000 points = JMD $25 shipping credit

Points:

  • Cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash

  • May only be used toward shipping balances

  • May expire if accounts become inactive (policy subject to change)

12. Payments

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Cash

  • Bank transfer

  • Approved digital payment options

All balances must be settled before delivery or release of packages unless otherwise approved.

13. Claims & Complaints

Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of package receipt or notification.

Supporting documentation may be required.
WhatsApp or social media messages do not automatically qualify as official claims unless confirmed by Verum Global.

14. Storage & Uncollected Packages

Customers will be notified when packages arrive.

  • Packages not collected within a reasonable timeframe may incur storage fees.

  • Uncollected packages may eventually be disposed of, auctioned, or donated to recover costs.

  • Outstanding balances remain the customer’s responsibility.

15. Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be made before shipment processing begins. Fees may apply depending on service stage.

16. Amendments

Verum Global reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates become effective once posted or communicated.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions represent the full agreement between Verum Global and its customers regarding services provided.
